Swim Lesson Instructors

 It is the responsibility of the Swim Instructor to supervise, instruct, and life guard during the swim lesson program in conjunction with the Program Manager III. Swim Instructor directs all phases of teaching to ensure the safety of all that participate. 



Paid referees are needed to help run our successful youth and adult leagues.

Recreation Program Manager II

Under the direct supervision of the Recreation Superintendent, the Recreation Program Manager administers and oversees the planning, organization, marketing, promotion, and the financial management of new and existing recreation special events, sports tournaments and sports marketing initiatives for the Worcester County Department of Recreation & Parks. 

Part-Time Parks Worker

Under the immediate supervision of the Parks Crew Leader, schedules, performs, and oversees park repair/maintenance operations in the County parks systems. 

Maintenance Program Monitor

Under supervision of the Recreation Superintendent, schedules, performs, and oversees various custodial, maintenance, and construction tasks in the recreation center as well as the surrounding grounds.

Concession Monitor

It is the responsibility of the Concessions Program Monitor to help supervise, oversee, and manage the concession stand.  At times other duties may include to help supervise, oversee, and manage recreation sports programs, evening and weekend front desk duties, and security building monitoring in the gymnasium area.  This is in conjunction with the Recreation Superintendent.  The successful Concessions Program assist in a variety of duties to enhance the enjoyment of all special event participants and concession stand customers.
