Recreation Program Updates

In the address on Thursday, December 19, Governor Hogan issued an advisory, refraining Marylanders from attending indoor gatherings of more than 10 individuals at one location. As a county department, Worcester County Recreation and Parks has been instructed to follow all Governor advisories and direction from our health department.

With this, all Recreation programming will continue to be suspended until Tuesday, January 19 and reassessed again next week. This will include all Adult Drop-In classes, Fitness classes and the Open Ice Skating that was scheduled to return next week. We will continue to keep the fitness room open and allow walkers to utilize the indoor track, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Registration is now open for Winter 2021 programs including fitness classes, youth clinics and adult leagues. We are planning to start these the week of January 18. As we return to our winter programs, our priority is the health and well-being of our community members. Please keep checking the Facebook page and our website for the most recent program updates.
