Adult Fitness

 Adult Fitness classes are being offered by Worcester County Recreation and Parks this fall. These classes are a great way to stay fit and active.

Core Training will guaranteed have your heart pumping and sweat dripping. This high intensity class will focus on strengthening your core and building muscle. The class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting October 3 to November 23. Open to ages 18 and older.

Early Bird Morning Fitness includes a variety of activities of cardio, strength balance, and floor workouts. Early Bird Morning Fitness will be held on Monday, Wednesday, Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. The program will begin October 3 and go until December 16. Open to ages 45 and older.

Yoga is back with Instructor Carol Jenkins-Pike, RYT 500. This program will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The classes will start October 4 and run until November 10. All equipment is provided. This program is built on three main structures: exercise, breathing, and meditation. Open to ages 18 and older.

PiYo is a low impact, fat burning class that requires no jumping. The class is great for every age, fitness level and body type. This program will be run by Instructor Nicole Miller, who will have participants having fun with this great stretch program. The class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting November 14 to December 21. Open to ages 18 and older.
