Softball Camp is designed to build a strong foundation in fundamentals by focusing on individual skills and drills. Campers will be grouped according to age and ability.

This camp will be led by local native and Sussex Central High School graduate Morgan Smith, currently an assistant softball coach at Christopher Newport University. She played collegiately at Rowan University, earning First Team All-American honors and still holding program records, and previously served as head coach at Richard Bland College from 2021–2024.

Equipment Needed: Helmet, glove, bat, tennis shoes or cleats, water bottle and lunch.

Get ready to explore the great outdoors at our Nature Rangers Adventure Education Camp! Led by instructor Morgan Smith, this summer program invites young adventurers to dive into the fascinating world of ecosystems.

Each session focuses on a new environment within the park, featuring hands-on exploration - from collecting water samples at the creek to birdwatching in the woods. Every day is packed with variety, including a themed science lesson, nature-inspired crafts, music, and interactive storytime. It's the perfect blend of scientific discovery and creative play!
