For all youth recreational leagues and programs, emphasis is placed on skill development, participation, sportsmanship, and most of all, kids having fun! Activities are designed for pure enjoyment and skill development. At the Worcester County Department of Recreation & Parks emphasis is placed on participation and positive sportsmanship.
All clinics will help participants perfect their sport skills and learn more about the game.

This program is great for homeschool children of all skill and fitness levels to have fun and keep their bodies moving. Children will enjoy fitness is a variety of recreation activities and build confidence in a structured, non-competitive environment while socializing with peers.
Enjoy a night out while your children enjoy staying IN. Children will enjoy watching movies, playing games, and making a craft to take home.
Participants will go over basic soccer skills and rills as well as more advanced techniques. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in live games.
Ready, Set, Run is a youth fitness program originally designed by the National Alliance of Youth Sports. This fun and engaging 12 week program has two goals. The first is to prepare all of the participants to run and complete a 5K at the end of 12 weeks. The second goal is to build confidence through learning how to set and accomplish fitness goals. Ready, Set, Run is way more than just a regular exercise routine. It is a complete youth character building experience.
USA Track & Field and Worcester County have teamed up to create Run Jump Throw, a hands-on learning program that gets kids excited about physical activity.
Youth Soccer is offered during the fall, winter, and spring seasons. In both our outdoor and indoor leagues, girls and boys of all skill levels are invited to take part in this popular sport. Teams from each town will be formed.
Our Youth Field Hockey Programs will introduce participants to the sport of field hockey. Basic skills and fundamentals will be introduced through station exercises, fun games, and drills. Participants will be learn to apply their skills to small sided scrimmage games.
After School programs are perfect for youth who want to participate in sports and great for families needing extended childcare.
Youth Basketball is offered ruing the fall and winter seasons. In both our Instructional program and Youth League, girls and boys of all skill levels are invited to participate.
This program is designed for toddlers to develop friendships, self esteem and curiousity in a safe nurturing environment. Toddler Gym will give you and your child the opportunity to have fun together and to form lifelong friendships.
Children will have a blast in our story time program by connecting crafts and songs to the stories read to them.
Little All-Stars is a great way for your child to become active while learning the key elements of a variety of sports and activities. Each class will focus on the fundamental movement skills of each sport, including soccer, t-ball, basketball, volleyball, and more. This program will introduce and encourage your child in skill development and team work while enhancing self confidence and social interaction.
High School Summer Leagues are open for students ages 13 through 18. Only $330 per team. Join us for a summer of fun in volleyball and soccer.
